its officially taken me 4+ years to figure out a perfect ‘all purpose asian style sauce’. a sauce for dipping, a sauce for stir frying, a sauce to serve over noodles. a sauce for everything. this is it.

p.s – i happened to saute some steamed broccoli in it on this day, but you can literally use this sauce for anything.
all purpose asian style sauce
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons water
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tablespoon ground ginger
a sprinkle of black pepper + crushed red pepper to taste
in a bowl, combined all of the above ingredients. whisk until fully combined. serve over rice, veggies, noodles, or use it as a dipping sauce for meats + egg rolls! i’m sure it would be great as a marinade as well!
