fall trend: bold lips

Fall is seriously the best time to play with trends. There is so much going on in fashion, that your head can literally explode from all of the excitement. Well – not really. But, you know.

Anyway – during NYFW, I had the pleasure of attending a Target fashion show to showcase their new fall line. Umm – heeeeelllllllooooo – Target is on their g a m e lately. Not only did they just release the highly anticipated Philip Lim line, but just look at the line up of fabulous ladies below! Their new line is h-o-p-p-i-n.

The fashion was on point, but I also noticed another big trend on the runway. Bold Lips. Yes yes my friends, bold lips are here to stay through fall! Pink, red, berry.. you name it. Anything that you can see from down the block is a win in the beauty world right now.

And if you can’t tell my one of my latest videos, as well as my instagram photos – I’ve totally been loving the bold lip trend. Contrary to what some people may think, you can wear hot pink lipstick in the fall.

Lets play with makeup today, okay?

1. Line your lips with a hot pink liner (i never do this neatly) – 2. Fill in your lips with an equally hot pink lipstick. – 3. Gloss up your lips with your favorite shade of florescent!

I used: MAC Lip Liner “Full of Fuchsia” – MAC Lipstick “Hollywood Nights” – Sonia Kashuk “Ravishing Rose”

Which p.s – I’m totally obsessed with this lipgloss. O b s e s s e d. Its so opaque that I can literally scream.

I can’t wait to share more photos of the Target show that I attended! It was such a fab time, and I’m honored to have been apart of it!
