This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending the NYC Wine + Food Festival as a Artisan Ambassador on behalf of Progresso! If you follow me on instsgram + twitter, then you definitely already know about this since I pretty much couldn’t stop talking about it. The food.. oh the food. SO.MUCH.(delicious).FOOD. I’m still full.
My fellow Progresso Artisan Ambassadors (i’m talking about you pretty laydays: Big Apple Nosh, Beauty and the Feast, NYC Talon, + Nutmeg Nanny!), got to have a little meet and greet with restaurateur Joe Bastianich! He spoke at the Progresso Artisan booth about his early days in the restaurant world, as well as the personal connection he has with Progresso of eating their soups as a child. It was super sweet, and he was just an all around cool guy!
We also got to have a fab-u-lous dinner at one of his NYC restaurants, Del Poto. Um.. can we say yum? Hands down one of the best meals I have ever had in my life. Plus, we sat in a wine cellar so haaaaallo.. awesome.
Oh hey, me trying to consume a simple limoncello while trying not to spill it on my white shirt.
Overall the NYC Wine + Food festival was definitely a success for me. Not only did I get to meet some really sweet people, but being able to hear the story behind the Progresso Artisan line was super sweet. I’ll have a full review of the soups up by next week, so be sure to keep a look out! Thanks again, Progresso!
