5 Ingredient Lime Grilled Chicken

Literally though, who has time for anything anymore? Between work, friends, family, and trying to pet all of the puppies of the world, who has the timeeeee to always make it into the grocery store to buy ingredients for that recipe that you saved on Pinterest.
Not only that, but how many times have you then gone and bought said groceries, only to never touch that random bottle of peppermint extract ever again? Or how about that 1/2 cucumber that’s currently rotting in your crisper draw? Those 26 leftover blue cheese stuffed olives because you only needed 4?
Yea… I’m with ya. I am the queen of ingredient waste.
Well, guess what? Not today. Nope. Today I looked in my refrigerator and said to myself — “Self, today you are going to make something out of the things that you already have. You are not going to Whole Foods and you are not buying another bag of plantain chips from Trader Joe’s, either.”
Okay, that last part is a total lie, but the rest remained true.
If you’re in a rush, and just have these 5 ingredients, you’ll have a delicious, juicy chicken dish in no time! Seriously, this took me like 30 seconds to make.
5 Ingredient Lime Grilled Chicken 
Makes 2 
2 boneless, skinless Chicken Breasts 
1 Lime, sliced and juiced
1 teaspoon Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
handful of Fresh Parsley 
Combined all of the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl, then add in your chicken breasts. Toss to coat both sides of chicken, and allow to rest in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.
Heat up your grill (or grill pan) that has been coated with cooking spray, and cook chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center. 
Optional*: Garnish with more fresh parsley and serve with lime slices. Enjoy!
