Where To Travel To Next?

It’s official. The wanderlust bug has bitten me. It has taken a huge chunk out of my soul and is currently spreading the pieces across the globe to places I want to visit. My current destination obsession? Thailand. Have you ever looked at pictures of Thailand? Like, truly looked at pictures of Thailand? I highly suggest forgetting about work today and just staring at these search results.
Thailand has been on my radar for quite some time, and a friend of mine actually spent a couple of weeks out there back in January. Her Facebook album from the trip had me drooling all over my keyboard. Her #nofilter Instagram posts had me questioning why I am not Thai.
Okay, maybe not that extreme, but sort of.

While NYC has been experiencing some serious summer weather, in reality, it’s still winter, and I still have those winter blues. I want to get up and travel to a place where, yes I can wear a sundress during the day, but I don’t have to worry about having a jacket with me at night. I want to frolic along a coastline and drink juice from a coconut. I want to pretend I’m not in New York but instead, somewhere else.
This happens to me every winter, and every winter, one of my favorite activities is planning trips I probably won’t go on anytime soon. They are usually extravagant and luxurious and cost upwards of my rent for an entire year, but it’s still fun to pretend. Not to say that I won’t ever make it to these places, but most likely not right after one another. My pockets need a little breather in between adventures. I’m currently on the sidelines after my trip to Italy a couple of weeks ago.
So, as I sit here scoping out some spring/summer catalogs, and munching on my thinkThin Brownie Crunch Protein Bar, I’m wanderlusting over where my next big trip will be.
Will it be Thailand? Will it be Spain? Maybe Brazil, perhaps? Who knows. But I’ll have fun losing my head in the clouds for now.
Protein helps fuels a full, energetic life. And good nutrition should always be delicious. That’s why thinkThin products are packed with protein and come in a variety of decadent flavors.
